HQ ARPC Announces Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Promotion, Major Continuation Board Results

Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2020 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 800 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at HQ ARPC June 8-13, 2020, to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 873 of 1589 officers considered. See the USAFR lieutenant colonel promotion list here or on myPers. 

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps (DC), Medical Corps (MC), Nurse Corps (NC), Medical Services Corps (MSC), Biomedical Sciences Corps (BSC), Chaplains, Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates (LAF-J) and Major’s Continuation. The results are below.

Participating Reserve
- 480 Line officers selected from 695 considered for a 69 percent selection rate.
- Three chaplains selected from four considered for a 75 percent selection rate.
- Seven DC officers selected from seven considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
- 18 LAF-J officers selected from 22 considered for a 82 percent selection rate.
- 14 MC officers selected from 17 considered for a 82 percent selection rate.
- 29 NC officers selected from 31 considered for a 94 percent selection rate.
