This message provides guidance to all Base/Unit Training Managers and supervisors for personnel in 5-skill level upgrade training (UGT) in Air Force Specialty Code 1N0X1. The following instructions are provided by the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Air Force Career Field Manager (AFCFM).

Career Development Course (CDC) Z1N051 Edit Code (EC) 05 is deactivated effective 5 June 2017 and is no longer a requirement for upgrade to the 5-skill level. Personnel enrolled in CDC Z1N051 EC 05 prior to 5 June 2017 must complete the course as part of the 5-skill level UGT requirements. All personnel who entered UGT on or after 5 June 2017 are not required to complete the course and should be dis-enrolled from the CDC. All personnel must complete the requirements outlined in AFI 36-2201, Air Force Training Program, paragraph 6.1.5 unless specified by the AFCFM.

Deactivation of CDC Z1N051 EC 05 does not affect promotion testing requirements. Airmen must refer to the Enlisted Promotions References and Requirements Catalog (EPRRC) to determine promotion testing requirements and the Electronic WAPS Online Reference Library Database (eWORLD) (CAC required) to access applicable promotion testing material.
