Lt. Col. promotions announced

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2015 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 600 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at ARPC June 15-19 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 619 of 1,293 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Services Corps, Biomedical Sciences Corps, Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates.

- 338 Line officers selected from 505 considered for a 67 percent selection rate.
- Six Chaplains selected from seven considered for an 86 percent selection rate.
- 11 DC officers selected from 12 considered for a 92 percent selection rate.
- 16 LAF-J officers selected from 24 considered for a 67 percent selection rate.
- 14 MC officers selected from 18 considered for a 78 percent selection rate.
- 35 NC officers selected from 41 considered for an 85 percent selection rate.
- 23 MSC officers selected from 30 considered for a 77 percent selection rate.
- Eight BSC officers selected from 13 considered for a 62 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve

- One Line officer selected from 26 considered for a four percent selection rate.

- One MC officer selected from 18 considered for a six percent selection rate.
- One NC officer selected from five considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- One MSC officer selected from one considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
- One BSC officer selected from five considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
