Medical Incentives

The Medical Incentives Branch manages medical incentive programs designed to recruit and retain medical professionals in critical wartime specialties for the Air Force Selected Reserve. Programs include the Loan Repayment Program (LRP), the Special Pay Incentive (SPI) Bonus Program and the Air Force Ready Reserve Stipend Program.

The Branch also provides personnel administrative support for the active duty Air Force's Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) and the Financial Assistance Program (FAP). These programs ensure adequate numbers of health professionals are accessed into the active Air Force.

Additionally, the Branch processes applications for Medical Special Pay for eligible Air Force Reserve health professionals on orders (other than training) for more than 30 days.
