MSgt Kevin J. Jenkins is the Executive Assistant to the Command Chief at the Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. He serves as the principal advisor to the Command Chief on daily executive-level administration. He directs leadership engagements, travel planning, calendar alignment & aid the Tasker Management Tool. His work enables the command ‘s senior leaders to set conditions for more than 500 military & civilian employees to support nearly 1.3 million active-duty Air Force, Reserve, National Guard, & retired members.
MSgt Jenkins entered the Air Force in October 2010 from Monroe, La. He completed basic training in 2011 and graduated from the Electrical Systems Technical School at Sheppard AFB, Texas in September 2011 and was subsequently assigned to the 307th Red Horse Squadron at Barksdale AFB, La. There he served as an Electrical Systems journeyman while moving up through the ranks and taking on the various leadership roles. During this assignment, he deployed to Bagram Air Base in support of Operation FREEDOM SENTINEL in 2013 and 2018. Shortly after his second deployment, TSgt Jenkins was selected over his peers to become AFRC’s Electrical Systems Instructor at the Expeditionary Combat Support-Training and Certification Center. Here MSgt Jenkins was able to utilize his expertise and professionalism to become the lead instructor across all the Air Force Regional Training Sites.
To expand his strategic perspective, MSgt Jenkins was competitively selected as the Executive Assistant to the Command Chief, Air Reserve Personnel Center, in 2024. In this capacity, he was directly involved in high-level deliberations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of NAF-level strategic decisions. His contributions directly supported the command's ability to execute its mission effectively. MSgt Jenkins was also selected to the Key Personnel List for CY26. Prior to his current position, the MSgt was the Electrical Systems Instructor, 622d Training Squadron, Expeditionary Combat Support and Certification Center, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia.
