ARPC members win AFRC-level awards

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. --   Air Force Reserve Command officials announced today winners for the 2013 awards for the A1 community. Eight winners and one team are from the Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley AFB, Colo.

Installation/Program Awards:
  • A1 Special Recognition Team/Program of the Year - Force Development
The following are individual awards in each respective level for 2013:
  • Operational Level
    • Personnel Company Grade Officer of the Year - Capt. Adam Ertsey
    • Force Support Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year - Master Sgt. Sean Landing
    • Force Support Noncommissioned Officer of the Year - Tech. Sgt. Amy R. Burum
    • Force Support NCO of the Year - Staff Sgt. Matthew J. Faini
    • Manager of the Year - Les W. Brockman
  • Individual Legacy Award Winners
    • Gen. Michael O. C. Carns Award - Senior Master Sgt. Ryan M. Phipps
    • Dr. Edwin C. Peterson Education and Training Manager Award - Master Sgt. Derek L. Perrault
    • Gen. Horace M. Wade Innovation Ward - Lt. Col. Michael A. Ortiz
