Position Vacancy (PV) Promotion Recommendation Forms (PRFs); New Process on Promotion Orders; CY14A RSSB Invitation to Apply
ARPC NOTAM 124 - Commanders -- Position Vacancy (PV) Promotion Recommendation Forms (PRFs) (UO414A): Promotion Recommendation Forms for the USAFR Line and Non-Line Major Position Vacancy (PV) Promotion Selection Boards (U0414A) are due by Nov. 29. These PRFs will not be accepted after the suspense. Please note that Nov. 29 may be a Family Day at some locations so please plan accordingly.

Elimination of Physical Mailing of Officer Promotion Orders: In an effort to minimize costs and utilize existing technology, effective Nov. 1, the ARPC Promotion Board Eligibility Division eliminated the mailing out of hard copy promotion orders. Currently members are able to request copies of orders by logging into myPers and utilizing the instructions listed below. Previous orders can still be pulled utilizing Personnel Records Display Application (PRDA) in myPers and current orders will be available in PRDA 45-60 days after promotion effective date.
This policy eliminates the need of mailing paper copies and reduces money spent on a redundant process. Additionally, for security reasons, orders will not be emailed to personal email addresses and members must ensure that they have access to a .mil account.
Instructions to the field:
Air Force Reserve - Submit request through the virtual Personnel Center Guard Reserve (vPC-GR) Dashboard.
1. Click on the "Actions Requests" tab
2. Select " Create New Support Request" in the box on the upper left hand side
3. In the "Component" box, select the component
4. In the "Category" box, select "Promotions" from the drop down menu
5. In the "Subject" box, type "Officer Promotion Order Request"
6. In the "Question" box, type "Grade and Date Issued" with applicable information, add additional information as desired (Example: Method of Delivery)
7. Finally, click the "Finish Submitting" button, this request will be forwarded to the myPers - TFSC for processing
Air National Guard - A copy can be requested directly by contacting your local Joint Force Headquarters - Air National Guard. Previous orders can be pulled utilizing Personnel Records Display Application (PRDA) in myPers.

CY14A Air Force Reserve School Selection Board (RSSB): The CY14A Air Force Reserve School Selection Board will convene Feb. 3, 2014 at the Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Both Invitation to Apply and RSSB Application can be found on myPers located under the red "News Alert" tab or on the vPC-GR Dashboard under the "Actions Request" tab. Applications are due to ARPC by Jan. 9, 2014; however, applicants are urged to check with their units for local deadlines.
