Air Reserve Personnel Center

The AFRC/SG Medical Awards Recognize individuals and units whose outstanding actions improve the delivery of health care and contribute to expeditionary medical operations for our Air Force Reserve personnel worldwide.

Eligibility:

• Recognition period: 1 October 2015 – 30 September 2016.

Nomination:

• Electronic AF 1206 (http://static.e-publishing.af.mil/production/1/af_a1/form/af1206/af1206_locked.pdf):
  • Limited to 30 lines (including headers and are to stand alone from the bullets), single-spaced, size 12 point font
  • Use only the AF Form 1206, Nomination for Award
  • Bullet format is mandatory
  • Only common acronyms known throughout the Air Force will be authorized, (AF, USAFE, ACC, CC, TDY, NCO)
• Nomination letter signed by member’s active duty commander and endorsed by their HQ RIO Detachment commander. Template: www.arpc.afrc.af.mil/Portals/4/DRIO/Awards/RIO-Nomination-letter-template.docx (HQ RIO CC endorsement not required)

Eligibility: New IMAs (gained in previous 12 months). IMAs who exceed the 12 month window may attend with HQ RIO Detachment commander approval.
