HQ ARPC announces Reserve lieutenant colonel promotions

Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2019 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 700 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at HQ ARPC June 10-15, 2019, to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 719 of 1478 officers considered. See the list of those selected here

Categories considered during these promotion boards were:  Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps (DC), Medical Corps (MC), Nurse Corps (NC), Medical Services Corps (MSC), Biomedical Sciences Corps (BSC), Chaplains, Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates (LAF-J) and Major’s continuation.

Participating Reserve:
- 366 Line officers selected from 559 considered for a 65 percent selection rate.
- 15 Chaplains selected from 17 considered for an 88 percent selection rate.
- 17 DC officers selected from 18 considered for a 94 percent selection rate.
- 19 LAF-J officers selected from 24 considered for a 79 percent selection rate.
- 13 MC officers selected from 17 considered for a 76 percent selection rate.
- 24 NC officers selected from 27 considered for an 89 percent selection rate.
- Four MSC officers selected from five considered for a 80 percent selection rate.
- Six BSC officers selected from nine considered for a 67 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve:
- 14 Line officers selected from 26 considered for a 54 selection rate.
- No Chaplains considered.
- Two DC officers selected from three considered for a 67 percent selection rate.
- No LAF-J officers considered.
- 29 MC officers selected from 40 considered for a 73 percent selection rate.
- Three NC officers selected from three considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
- No MSC officers considered.
- One BSC officer selected from three considered for a 33 percent selection rate.
