ANNUAL CIVILIAN EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION access on vPC-GR (ANG, AFRC) - All Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Airmen are required to update their Civilian Employment Information annually. Updated CEI provides Defense officials visibility of who can be called up for active military duty without jeopardizing the civilian forces responsible for safeguarding our country. Airmen now can access the OSD Guard-Reserve Portal to update their Civilian Employment Information when they log into the vPC-GR Dashboard. Beginning 60 days before their birthday, a pop-up reminder will appear when Ready Reserve Airmen log on to the vPC-GR Dashboard.

All ANG and Reserve Airmen, with the exception of Active Guard Reserve members and retirees, will fulfill this annual requirement. Please visit the Update CEI website here

CONTACT CENTER UTA SUPPORT CURTAILED Jan. 2, 16, 2010 (AFRC, ANG) - The ANG/AFR UTA scheduling and historic workload volume on New Year's Day and Martin Luther King weekends demonstrate that phone operation support on Saturday Jan. 2 and Saturday Jan. 16 are not justified. As always, the Web, email and fax channels to your Contact Center remain available 24/7. The center will provide UTA phone support Saturday Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 in response to UTA drilling schedules. The center retains a three-Saturday a month schedule.

MAJOR PROMOTION BOARD FOR LINE AND HEALTH PROFESSIONS Suspenses (AFRC) - The USAFR Line and Health Professions Promotion Selection boards will convene Feb. 1- 6 at ARPC. Position Vacancy Nominations are due to ARPC/DPBPE Dec. 18. Failure to meet this date will render the officer ineligible. Historically, officers without current Officer Performance Reports are promoted at a much lower rate than those with current performance documentation. There are more than 400 missing reports on those eligible for the board. The due date for all Directed by Headquarters reports for officers without current performance documentation is Dec. 18. The last date for MilPDS updates to automatically flow in system is Jan 22. For MilPDS updates made after Jan. 22, submit a source document and printout of your update to the promotion board room staff via vPC-GR at https://arpc.afrc.af.mil/vPC-GR/ . For more information, see ARPCM 09-26, dated 28 Aug 09 on the ARPC Promotions page at http://www.arpc.afrc.af.mil/shared/media/document/AFD-090828-078.pdf.
