ARPC announces Reserve Colonel promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2015 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 150 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at ARPC October 5-9 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 163 of 1,538 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps, Biomedical Sciences Corps, Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates.

- 77 Line officers selected from 325 considered for a 24 percent selection rate.
- One Chaplain officer selected from two considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
- One DC officer selected from eight considered for a 13 percent selection rate.
- Two LAF-J officers selected from 21 considered for a 10 percent selection rate.
- Eight NC officers selected from 42 considered for a 19 percent selection rate.
- Six MC officers selected from 30 considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- Three MSC officers selected from 10 considered for a 30 percent selection rate.
- Two BSC officers selected from 12 considered for a 17 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- No Line officers selected from four considered for a zero percent selection rate.
- One Chaplain officer selected from one considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

- One MC officer selected from nine considered for an 11 percent selection rate.
