COLONEL ADRIAN WHITE

Col Adrian K. White is the Mobilization Assistant to the Director, Operations, Strategic Deterrence, and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.  He assists the director in oversight of a headquarters staff and the 603rd Air Operations Center providing integrated air and missile defense, aeromedical evacuation, space and cyberspace operations, aerial refueling, weather, combat aerial delivery, operational support airlift and distinguished visitor airlift, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and precision strike in the European and African Commands.

Col White received his commission in 1990 through the US Army Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, Georgia as an Army Aviation Officer. After serving in the Army National Guard, he transferred to the Air National Guard in 1997 and then to the Air Force Reserve in 2001. He served in several positions in the Army National Guard as the battalion intelligence officer, platoon leader and battalion assistant operations officer. In the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve he has served as an assistant director of operations, deployed squadron director of operations, deployed squadron commander, political-military planner, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and battle watch captain for operations, European Command plans and operations center, joint operations center.

Prior to his current assignment, Col White was the Vice Commander, 349th Air Mobility Wing, Travis AFB, California.  In his civilian capacity, he is a senior strategy consultant with a major defense consulting firm.
