COLONEL ASHLEY L. HEYEN

Colonel Ashley L. Heyen is the Director, Assignments, Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Her directorate provides personnel support to over 1 million Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard and Retired Airmen ensuring they are prepared to deliver Total Force war fighting capability for the Air Force. Colonel Heyen works closely with all three Air Force components to develop future processes and leverage technology to support Air Force personnel programs for the future. From initial entry to retirement, the center provides world-class support for Airmen across the spectrum of personnel programs. The center is a major command direct reporting unit of Air Force Reserve Command.

Colonel Heyen entered the Air Force in 1994 after graduating from Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, AL. She served on active duty for seven years in a variety of personnel assignments, including education and training, customer support, and military equal opportunity.

Colonel Heyen joined the Air Force Reserve as an individual mobilization augmentee in 2003 and has continued to serve actively as both an IMA and Active Guard and Reserve throughout the Command.
