Col. Kandace M. Steinbrink

Col. Kandace M. Steinbrink serves as the Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Commander, Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, where she is responsible for providing personnel support to nearly 1.3 million Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve and Regular Air Force members, ensuring they are ready to deliver strategic Total Force warfighting capability for the Air Force. From initial entry to retirement, the center provides world-class support for “Generations of Airmen” throughout their military careers.

Col. Steinbrink was commissioned in 1997 as a Distinguished Graduate of the Academy of Military Science at McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tenn. She has leadership positions at the squadron and group levels and had staff duty at the Numbered Air Force, Major Command, Air Staff and Joint levels.

Prior to her current position, Col. Steinbrink served as the Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Director of Human Capital for United States Space Command, in this capacity, she oversaw the formation of the new combatant command, from establishing requirements to resourcing human capital and sustainment of these new assets, working with all services, active, reserve and guard components, the Joint Staff, and other relevant agencies.
