Colonel JASON L. KNIGHT

Col. Knight serves as the Deputy Commander at Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. He is responsible for personnel support to nearly 1.3 million Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, active duty Air Force, and retired members, ensuring they are ready to deliver strategic Total Force war fighting capability for the Air Force.  From initial entry to retirement, the center provides world-class support for “Generations of Airmen” throughout their military careers.

Col. Knight received his commission in 1994 after graduating from the University of Illinois. As a career Personnel Officer, he has commanded at both the squadron and group level and has served in a variety of major command and headquarters positions including Deputy Chief of the Airman Development and Military Policy Divisions at Headquarters USAF, Director of Officer Commissioning Programs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chief of the Personnel Division at Headquarters Air Combat Command, and J1 for Headquarters US Forces Korea. His deployment experience includes tours in Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, and Afghanistan.
