SMSgt Jenny Sanchez is the Superintendent, Force Development, Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center (HQ ARPC), Buckley Space Force Base, Colo. SMSgt Sanchez manages the administrative and logistical needs for more than 50 Air Force Reserve Development Teams, Developmental Education Boards and special boards. Providing principal support, she serves as the liaison between HQ ARPC, Air Force Reserve Command, and Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center regarding processes, systems and products. She is responsible for the provision of supervisory guidance, training, and assistance to all assigned military and civilian personnel across three branches within the division.
SMSgt Sanchez was raised in Milford, Conn., and has served in various components of the Air Force. She entered the N.Y. Air National Guard in 2002 as a Security Forces Apprentice. She then served the 105th Airlift Wing as a Recruiter enlisting over 200 Airmen. As an Airman Leadership School and Noncommissioned Officer Academy Instructor, both in residence and via satellite, she graduated over 600 students at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, McGhee Tyson ANGB. SMSgt Sanchez, later cross trained into Personnel and served as a personnel services technician and Manager of Personnel Services at HQ ARPC, Buckley SFB. She was subsequently assigned to HQ ARPC, Officer Promotions Division as the Manager of Promotion Board Eligibility where she managed the eligibility determination of 9.8K Reserve Officers and 2.5K Reserve Officer promotions annually. SMSgt Sanchez transferred to the Air Force Reserve in 2020 as the Superintendent of Force Development, HQ ARPC, Buckley SFB, Colo.
