Brigadier General JENNIE R. JOHNSON

Brig. Gen. Jennie R. Johnson is the Commander at Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. She is responsible for personnel support to nearly 1.3 million Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, active duty Air Force and retired members, ensuring they are ready to deliver strategic Total Force war fighting capability for the Air Force. From initial entry to retirement, the center provides world-class support for "Generations of Airmen" throughout their military careers.

Brig. Gen. Johnson entered the Air Force through the Direct Appointment Program in September 1994. After an assignment as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate, she attended Joint Undergraduate Navigator Training to become a C-130 Navigator. She entered the United States Air Force Reserve in 2003 after nine years on active duty. Since then, she has held leadership positions at the squadron, group and wing levels and had staff duty at the Numbered Air Force and Air Staff levels. During her most recent deployment, she served as the Director of Mobility Forces, Air Force Central Command.

Prior to her current position, Brig. Gen. Johnson held the position of Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, 618th Air Operations Center, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. In her civilian capacity, she has served corporate clients for 17 years at one of the four largest professional services networks in the world.
