Colonel Frank R. Kincaid is the Mobilization Assistant to the Combined Force Space Component Commander, United States Space Command, and Deputy Commander, Space Operations Command. As Mobilization Assistant, Col Kincaid assists in leading more than 17,000 joint and combined personnel with a mission to plan, integrate, conduct, and assess global space operations in order to deliver combat relevant space capabilities to Combatant Commanders, Coalition partners, the joint force, and the nation.
Colonel Kincaid received his commission in 1994 from the U.S. Air Force Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English. Upon entering active duty, he was assigned to the 448th Missile Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, where he served as a crewmember and instructor at the squadron and group level. He then was assigned to the 2nd Space Operations Squadron at Schriever AFB as a payload system operator and crew commander instructor for the Global Positioning System. He separated from the Regular Air Force in 2002 and joined the Air Force Reserve in 2006. He has since served in various leadership positions throughout his career, most recently as the Vice Commander for the 310th Space Wing, Schriever SFB, Colo. Col Kincaid has also served as the Wing Weapons Officer for the 310th Space Wing; the Deputy Reserve Advisor to the Director of Financial Management and Strategic Plans, Headquarters Air Force Space Command; the Senior Military Assistant to the Director of Staff, Headquarters Air Force, the Pentagon; the Deputy Director, Joint Force Development, U.S. Space Command; and Commander, 26th Space Aggressor Squadron.
