Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He is responsible for policy, guidance, training and resources in support of more than 49,000 total force logistics, civil engineering and force protection personnel, and 1,074 aircraft to include the airlift, tanker, aeromedical, executive airlift, and Presidential fleets at 10 major installations in the United States and nearly 100 locations worldwide. Additionally, the directorate also provides direct support to 18th Air Force, Air Mobility Command’s sole warfighting Numbered Air Force, and the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, the Air Force’s Center of Excellence for enroute, contingency response and partnership capacity building mission sets.
Colonel Douglass entered the Air Force in January 1999 after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University Reserve Officer Training Corps program. He has held leadership positions at Headquarters Air Force and Air Force Reserve Command. He has also commanded at group and squadron levels and deployed multiple times throughout his career supporting contingency operations overseas.
