Colonel BRYAN M. BAILEY

Colonel Bryan M. Bailey is the Commander, 452nd Air Mobility Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, Calif. As commander of the Air Force Reserve’s largest wing, with more than 4,000 personnel, nine C-17As and 14 KC- 135Rs, he directs the support of worldwide airlift and air refueling operations. Colonel Bailey is also responsible for the daily operations of March ARB which supports active duty, National Guard and Reserve mission partners from the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines as well as Department of Homeland Security personnel with the Air and Marine Operations Center.

Col Bailey entered the Air Force through the United States Air Force Academy in 2001. He is a command pilot with more than 6,000 flight hours. He served three active-duty C-17 assignments in operations and training. Since transferring to Air Force Reserve Command, Col Bailey served as Director of Operations, a National Security Fellow, Headquarters Air Force Strategist and Operations Group Commander. Prior to his current position, he was the 911th Airlift Wing Commander leading 1893 military and civilian personnel.

Col Bailey is a veteran combat airlifter, instructed over 1,000 aircrew students, and deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, ODYSSEY DAWN, SPARTAN SHIELD, DEEP FREEZE and BRIGHT STAR.
