Colonel Molly Spedding

Colonel Molly Spedding serves as the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He is responsible for policy, guidance, training and resources in support of more than 49,000 total force logistics, civil engineering and force protection personnel, and 1,074 aircraft at 10 major installations in the United States and nearly 100 locations worldwide. Her directorate also provides direct support to 18th Air Force, AMC’s sole warfighting numbered Air Force, and the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, the Air Force’s Center of Excellence for enroute, contingency response, and partnership capacity building mission sets.

Colonel Spedding received her commission from the U.S. Air Force’s Officer Training School in 1999. Her active duty and reserve career path includes experience as a Personnel Officer, Special Agent - Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Joint Assistant Inspector General, and Security Forces Officer. She has held leadership positions at the Air Staff and commanded three times at the squadron and group levels.

Prior to this assignment, Colonel Spedding was Commander of the 310th Mission Support Group, Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado.
