Col. Robert M. Degregorio is the Mobilization Assistant to the J4, Logistics and Engineering Directorate, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
Colonel Degregorio previously served as the IMA to the Director of Logistics, HQ Air Force. In this capacity, Colonel Degregorio organized, trained & equipped 180,000 logisticians to maintain and support mission generation & aerospace weapons systems. He developed Air Force logistics policy; provided expertise shaping DoD/USAF policy, plans & directives for implementation. He synchronized expeditionary logistics initiatives across Air Staff to effectively and efficiently support the warfighter.
Colonel Degregorio earned his commission in May 1996 through ROTC at Charleston Southern University. He has served in all sections of the Aerial Port over his career in the Pacific En-Route system, as well as the Chief of Supply and Transportation for the J6, AFSOUTH, NATO in Naples Italy. Colonel Degregorio completed his active-duty career in 05 where he served as the Installation Deployment Officer for Team Charleston, leading them to an OUTSTANDING rating on their 2004 ORI.
As a reservist, Colonel Degregorio, has served as a Traditional Reservist in the 38th APS for 2 years, then a 5-year tour as the 315th Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander and Senior Air Reserve Technician at JB Charleston, SC, followed by a year at the 927th MSG as a Deputy Group Commander. The Colonel went on to Group Command after completing a 3-year assignment as both HQ AFRC A4R Force Management Branch Chief followed by an AGR assignment as the Chief of Expeditionary Combat Support at the HQ AFRC Force Generation Center. as the Commander, 315th Mission Support Group, Joint Base Charleston, S.C. where he was responsible for over 657 officers, enlisted, and civilian personnel assigned to Security Forces, Force Support, Logistics Readiness Squadrons and the Civil Engineering Flight. While there, Colonel Degregorio led his team to be named Best Mission Support Group in 4th Air Force by coveting the illustrious Campbell Trophy. As the A4R Division Chief at Robins AFB, Georgia. Colonel Degregorio oversaw policy and procedures to train, equip and provide material support for 37 Logistics Readiness and 37 Aerial Port organizations. His team managed over $1B in support equipment, $330M in weapons system spares and an annual fuels budget exceeding $350M. Colonel Degregorio oversaw training and force development for more than 10,000 enlisted and officer logistics and air/ground transportation personnel. While at the FGC, Colonel Degregorio and his team planned, organized and directed the activities of Expeditionary Combat Support, ensuring that deployment and support requirements complied with legal and regulatory guidelines.
