Colonel RODNEY E. MCCRAINE

Colonel Rodney E. McCraine is the Associate Director and Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Logistics (A4L), Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon, Washington D.C. The staff trains, organizes, and equips personnel for all facets of maintenance, logistics, and operational contract support and develops strategic guidance to align MAJCOM, DAF, and NDS priorities to ensure logistics equities for over 300K Total Force personnel are optimized across the FYDP. They also provide authoritative guidance to enhance process and resource utilization, and draft and coordinate annexes to war plans supporting National Command Authority, Joint Staff, and MAJCOMs, as well as oversee weapon system sustainment performance measurement and metrics.

Col McCraine graduated from the University of Colorado and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1999 through the ROTC program. He is a logistics readiness officer and has served in all three Air Force components: Active Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve. He is currently on full time orders as an Active Guard Reserve officer and has served as an Air Reserve Technician, and Individual Mobilization Augmentee, and a Drill Status Guardsman.

Throughout his career, he has held a variety of assignments to include multiple MAJCOM and higher staffs, Group Command, Squadron Command, and several base-level logistics readiness roles.
