LIEUTENANT COLONEL KERYA REYES

Lt. Col. Kerya ReyesLieutenant Colonel Kerya Reyes is currently assigned to the Headquarters Individual Reservist Readiness and Integration Organization as Commander, Detachment 5, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Detachment 5 manages all Individual Reserve matters for more than 1,400 Individual Mobilization Augmentees assigned to positions located around the world.

She recently completed an assignment as Deputy Commander, 315th Mission Support Group, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. In this capacity she was responsible for over 800 officer, enlisted, and civilian personnel assigned to Security Forces, Force Support, Logistics Readiness, two Aerial Port Squadrons and the Civil Engineering Flight, supporting combat operations and U.S. sponsored humanitarian relief efforts.

Lt Col Reyes received her commission through the Air Force Officer Training School in 1999. A career Force Support officer, she has served in various operational and staff assignments at the unit, MAJCOM and combatant command levels to include serving as the USCENTCOM Chief of General Officer Matters, where she briefed the Army two-star Chief of Staff on a weekly basis. She was pivotal to the transition of General Petraeus from CENTCOM Commander to Commander, International Security Forces/US Forces - Afghanistan and all the required senior officer actions to affect this significant leadership changeover. Additionally, she served as the USCENTCOM Air Force Element Section Commander, a g-series order commander responsible for good order and discipline of over 900 Total Force Airmen. Lt Col Reyes has deployed to Qatar and Uzbekistan supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Lt Col Reyes served on active duty for twelve years in a variety of personnel assignments, including Military Personnel Flight Section Chief, and AFSOC Support Officer Assignments before cross-training to Manpower as the Manpower and Organization Flight Chief at Little Rock AFB. She transitioned to the Air Force Reserve as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee in 2011 at USCENTCOM.

Following her USCENTCOM tour she served in several leadership positions in the Directorate of Manpower, Personnel and Services at Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, culminating in her assignment as the Deputy, Personnel Division, where she was responsible for policies, programs and objectives involving the assignment, education and training, separation, retirement, equal opportunity, career progression, and quality of life for nearly 90,000 military and civilian personnel covering three Numbered Air Forces, 34 wings, 10 groups, and operating locations world-wide.

Chief Master Sergeant Kelley R. Brannock is the Superintendent, Readiness and Integration Organization, Detachment 5, Robins Air Force Base, GA. She provides support to all centrally managed Individual Mobilization Augmentees, to include Judge Advocates, Surgeon Generals, Historians, Chaplains, and those assigned to Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command and Air Force Reserve Personnel Center. She advises the Detachment 5 Commander on all personnel matters concerning the mobilization and combat readiness of assigned Individual Mobilization Augmentees. She is responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of strategies supporting personnel policies and is responsible for the effectiveness of centrally managed Individual Mobilization Augumentee programs in providing operationally trained wartime resources.

Chief Master Sergeant Brannock was born in Kansas City, Kansas. She enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1999. Chief Brannock has a diversified background, beginning her career as an Information Management Specialist while serving in the Regular Air Force and transitioning to the Air Force Reserve in 2004 as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee. She re-trained into the Military Personnel career field in 2005 and continues to perform duties for the Air Force Reserve as an Active Guard and Reserve member. She was most recently assigned to the Colonel Force Management and Support Office, Headquarters United States Air Force, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., before assuming her current position. While assigned she was recognized as the 2018 Headquarters Air Force Support Reserve Component Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year.
