COLONEL ROSADEL D. HOFFMAN

Colonel Rosadel D. Hoffman

Colonel Rosadel D. Hoffman is the Commander,  Detachment 7, Individual Reservist Readiness and Integration Organization, Air Reserve Personnel Center, Air Force Reserve Command, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.  In this capacity, she is responsible for the war time readiness and seamless integration of over 1,500 Individual Reservists assigned to various defense organizations headquartered in the National Capital Region.

Prior to assuming her current position, Colonel Hoffman served as Chief, Project Management Division, Plans and Integration Directorate, Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. In this capacity, she oversaw the Deputy Chief’s Talent Management governance process and maintained a portfolio‐wide view to deliver decision‐making capability to leadership, to strengthen partnerships across the HRM enterprise, and to provide resources and guidance to project managers in order to facilitate information sharing and the rapid acquisition of best possible solutions for the Total Force.

Colonel Hoffman also has extensive expertise in executive level talent management.  She served several years in various positions within the AF Reserve Senior Leader Management Directorate.  She oversaw all aspects of career management for approximately 90 Reserve general officers.  Her duties also included formulating and implementing personnel and assignment policy affecting senior leadership, executing senior leader force development initiatives and programs and centrally managing over 500 Reserve general officer, colonel and chief master sergeant positions.

Colonel Hoffman received her commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1996, separated from active duty in 2002 and immediately continued her career in the Reserve. She has served as a Traditional Reservist, an Individual Reservist and now full‐time in the Active Guard/Reserve program. She is a career personnel officer with extensive experience at the unit, major command and staff‐level. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, Louis (USAF retired) and their two children, Krysten and Daniel.
