The color of money
the ‘color of money’ refers to the different categories of budget dollars and the specific uses on which they may be spent. Under-execution of funds in one area can result in future budget cuts. Individual Reservists are encouraged to perform all of their Inactive Duty Training and Annual Tour days to help ensure adequate funding is available for training in subsequent fiscal years.
