3 win awards in Air Force Media Contest
Three Air Force reservists won top honors in the 2011 Air Force Media Contest, according to an announcement Feb 27. The winners from Air Force Reserve Command are Tech. Sgt. Shawn Jones, print journalist of the year, 514th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J.; Senior Airman Meredith Thomas, outstanding new writer, 916th Air Refueling Wing, Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C.; and Staff Sgt. Brent Skeen, TV feature report, 459th ARW, Joint Base Andrews, Md. (U.S. Air Force graphic/Phil Rhodes)
