HQ RIO Commander's Call

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. - Col. Christopher Cronce, commander of Headquarters Readiness and Integration Organization at Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., stands at attention with Col. Jeffrey Moore, program manager for Detachment 29, while the narrator reads the meritorious service medal citation during the first RIO commander’s call here July 2. Cronce conducted medal presentations and delivered his expectations to 70 RMG members, to include detachment program managers and superintendents. HQ RIO was activated Feb. 1, 2014 at Buckley AFB as a subordinate organization to ARPC because of the A1 Transformation. When fully operational, it will integrate more than 7,000 Air Force Reserve individual reservists into active-duty units to meet Air Force and combatant commander requirements. The commander’s call followed the inactivation ceremony of the Readiness Management Group. (US Air Force photo/Capt Candice Allen)
