The first two manufactured housing units, part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's response and recovery efforts related to severe storms and flooding on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, arrived at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Oct. 8, 2015, after traveling from housing storage facilities in Selma, Ala., and Cumberland, Md. The base will serve as the staging area for the FEMA operation, providing space to store the units that will be used to house residents with damaged homes.
