CY16 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Colonel Promotion results announced

BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. --  Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2016 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 150 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at ARPC October 3 - 7 to determine those officers best and fully qualified to assume the next higher grade. Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Services Corps, Biomedical Sciences Corps, Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates.

- 101 Line officers selected from 402 considered for a 25 percent selection rate.
- Four Chaplain officers selected from seven considered for a 57 percent selection rate.
- No DC officers selected from six considered.
- Seven LAF-J officers selected from 29 considered for a 24 percent selection rate.
- Four NC officers selected from 20 considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- 11 MC officers selected from 33 considered for a 33 percent selection rate.
- Five MSC officers selected from 16 considered for a 31 percent selection rate.
- Three BSC officers selected from 11 considered for a 27 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- No Line officers selected from three considered.
- No Chaplain officers considered.
- No DC officers selected from two considered.

- One MC officer selected from 13 considered for an eight percent selection rate.
