Retired members currently approved for participation back into the Air Force Reserve who no longer desire to participate should contact their servicing Force Support Squadron (FSS) or RIO Detachment and apply for reassignment back to the Retired Status (RegAF or Reserve Retired Status).
* The losing FSS will generate reassignment orders for Unit assigned retirees and submit a copy to Reserve Assignments through myPers
* Reserve Assignments will reassign the retiree to the PAS code to which they were assigned as a retiree
* The losing Detachment will submit IMA assigned retiree members approved requests to Reserve Assignment through myPers
* Reserve Assignments will generate orders and reassign the members to the PAS code to which they were assigned as a retiree
