2020 Casualty Assistance Representative training schedule for Guard, Reserve

Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, is hosting the annual Casualty Assistance Representative (CAR) training class March 3-5, 2020. This training is only for Air Force Reserve Air National Guard primary and alternate CAR's and consists of casualty status briefings by subject matter experts.

This opportunity is limited to 40 available seats and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. This course is unit funded as it is not a formal course. An email containing reporting instructions and lodging information will be sent to attendees upon seat confirmations.

NOTE: This is NOT refresher training; Primary and Alternate CAR's who have attended any of our previous CAR training courses are not eligible to attend this training course.

The course will be conducted in the middle of the duty week, Tuesday through Thursday, March 3-5, with travel days being Monday, Monday, March 2nd, and Friday, March 6th. Attendees should not schedule departing flights prior to 4 p.m. that final day of training, Thursday. Public transportation is not available and orders should include a rental car.

In addition, please attach your AF Form 1075 with your request. Any questions or concerns will be addressed through your submitted ticket.
