TD1 = Active duty other tour
TD2 = Active duty special tour. Special tours of active duty training can be used to maintain or increase the member’s mobilization readiness. Members earn one point per day.
TD3 = Active duty school tour. A member takes part in a school tour to keep or increase proficiency in the duty AFSC or wartime tasking. Members earn one point per day.
TD4 = Active duty annual tour. Annual training is the 15 day period of training members must perform each year to satisfy the training requirements associated with their assignment. Members earn one point per day.
TD5 = Extended active duty tour. Full-time active duty. Members earn one point per day.
TD6 = Paid (AFTP) inactive duty. Additional Flying Training Periods (AFTP) for officers and enlisted on flying status enable flight personnel to achieve and maintain a high level of flight proficiency in order to promote flight safety. Members earn one point for every four hours, not to exceed two points per calendar day.
TD7 = Paid inactive duty training. It includes unit training assemblies, split unit training assembly, rescheduled unit training assembly, equivalent training, proficiency training, and training period preparation assembly. Members earn one point for every four hours, not to exceed two points per calendar day.
TD8 = Non-paid inactive duty training. Except for pay and allowances, a member in this status is entitled to the same benefits as if he or she were in a pay status. Members earn one point for every four hours, not to exceed two points per calendar day.
TD9 = Extension Course Institute (ECI) points. ECI courses that are related to the member’s career field may be taken for point credit. One point is awarded for every four study hours.
TDA = Non-paid active duty. Active duty performed in a non-pay status, members earn one point per day.
TDB = Continuation Pay. If a member is physically disabled in the line of duty while serving on active duty or inactive duty, then the member is entitled to pay and points for the period of the orders. If the disability continues beyond this period, the member is entitled to continuation of pay status (TD B). No points are awarded while member is in continuation of pay status (TDB).
TDD = Paid inactive duty training – RMP. Readiness Management Periods (RMP) is used to support the ongoing day-to-day operation of the unit, accomplishing unit administration, training preparation, support activities, and maintenance functions. These points are tracked separately from TD7 paid inactive duty training.
TDE = Active duty – FHD. Funeral Honor Duty (FHD) is a means to satisfy Military Funeral Honors. FHD is the term used for duty or training associated with the performance/provision of Military Funeral Honors (MFH). MFH is the ceremonial paying of respect and the final demonstration of the country’s gratitude to who, in times of war and peace, have faithfully defended our nation. Members earn one point per day.
TDF = Inactive duty status – FHD. Funeral Honor Duty (FHD) is a means to satisfy Military Funeral Honors. FHD is the term used for duty or training associated with the performance/provision of Military Funeral Honors (MFH). MFH is the ceremonial paying of respect and the final demonstration of the country’s gratitude to who, in times of war and peace, have faithfully defended our nation. Retirement points earned in support of FHD can exceed the 90 point limitation for retirement currently restricted for each member’s retirement/retention year. FHD performed will be credited with one retirement point for each day of this type of duty/preparations. Points for FHD done in inactive duty status will be shown in the IDS (inactive duty status) column so they will not be counted in the 130 point limitation when calculating retirement points.
