ARPC announces Air National Guard Lt. Col. and Maj. promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar Year 2022 Air National Guard Lt. Col. and Maj. Promotion Selection Board today. The boards selected more than 600 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at ARPC April 9-12 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 393 for promotion to lieutenant colonel of 524 officers considered and 226 for promotion to major of the 254 considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air National Guard Line of the Air Force-Air Operations and Special Warfare (LAF-A), Line of the Air Force-Nuclear Missile Operations (LAF-N), Line of the Air Force-Space Operations (LAF-S), Line of the Air Force-Information Warfare (LAF-I), Line of the Air Force-Combat Support (LAF-C), Line of the Air Force-Force Modernization (LAF-F), Dental Corps (DC), Medical Corps (MC), Nurse Corps (NC), Medical Services Corps (MSC), Biomedical Sciences Corps (BSC), Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocate (LAF-J).

-- 205 LAF-A officers were selected from 252 considered for an 81 percent selection rate.
-- Five LAF-S officers were selected from six considered for an 83 percent selection rate.
-- 42 LAF-I officers were selected from 54 considered for a 78 percent selection rate.
-- 45 LAF-C officers were selected from 53 considered for an 85 percent selection rate.
-- Two LAF-F officers were selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
-- 11 LAF-J officers were selected from 13 considered for an 85 percent selection rate.
-- Four Chaplain officers were selected from six considered for a 78 percent selection rate.
-- Five DC officers were selected from six considered for an 83 percent selection rate.
-- 14 MC officers were selected from 17 considered for an 82 percent selection rate.
-- 14 NC officers were selected from 16 considered for an 88 percent selection rate.
-- Five MSC officers were selected from seven considered for a 71 percent selection rate.
-- 13 BSC officers were selected from 14 considered for a 93 percent selection rate.

-- 88 LAF-A officers were selected from 96 considered for a 92 percent selection rate.
-- Five LAF-S officers were selected from five considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
-- No LAF-N officers were considered.
-- 29 LAF-I officers were selected from 32 considered for a 91 percent selection rate.
-- 34 LAF-C officers were selected from 38 considered for an 89 percent selection rate.
-- One LAF-F officers was selected from one considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
-- Four LAF-J officers were selected from five considered for an 80 percent selection rate.
-- Five Chaplain officers were selected from five considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
-- Five DC officers were selected from five considered for a 100 percent selection rate.

-- 27 NC officers were selected from 30 considered for a 90 percent selection rate.
