ARPC announces Air National Guard line and nonline major and lieutenant colonel promotion results

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the 2013 Air National Guard line and nonline major and lieutenant colonel promotion selection boards today.

The selection boards convened at the center April 8 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 555 of 695 Air National Guard officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air National Guard Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line of the Air Force - Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps officers.

-- 220 line officers were selected from 274 considered for an 80 percent selection rate.
-- Eight chaplains were selected from 11 considered for a 73 percent selection rate.
-- One DC officer was selected from two considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
-- Three LAF-J officers were selected from four considered for a 75 percent selection rate.
-- 18 MC officers were selected from 22 considered for an 82 percent selection rate.
-- 19 NC officers were selected from 23 considered for an 83 percent selection rate.
-- Two MSC officers were selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
-- Eight BSC officers were selected from nine considered for an 89 percent selection rate.
