Credit for Joint Duty Assignments Published March 27, 2013 ARPC NOTAM 118 - Commanders -- As Air Force Reserve Officers, most of you have heard about the four pillars of experience for senior leaders: assignments at the wing level, command level, joint arena and in the National Capital Region. As you continue on the path as senior leaders in the AFR, it is imperative that you receive appropriate credit for all of your joint experiences that are not already reflected as Joint Duty Assignment List, JDAL, positions. Reserve Component officers have until Sept. 30, 2013 to take the initiative to capture all joint experience for retroactive credit and points. After Sept. 30, 2013, you must self-nominate all non-JDAL experience no later than one year after completion. After one year, you will be ineligible for award of joint experience credit or points and there will be no retroactive application process. For additional information visit the Joint Qualification System website at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/appj/jmis/JQSindex.jsp. Reserve officers call the Total Force Service Center-Denver at 800-525-0102 for additional information. ANG officers should contact: Lt Col Lawrence V. Hopkins, Jr., NG-J1, Joint Officer Management, (703) 607-5497, (DSN 327) //signed// JOHN C.
