ARPC announces major promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar 2012 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Major Promotion Selection board March 13, 2013.

The selection board convened at the center Jan. 14-18 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 649 of 2,045 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line Air Force - Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

- 352 Line officers selected from 443 considered for a 79 percent selection rate.
- Three Chaplains officers selected from four considered for a 75 percent selection rate.
- Three DC officers selected from six considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
- 17 LAF-J officers selected from 21 considered for an 81 percent selection rate.
- 17 MC officers selected from 19 considered for an 89 percent selection rate.
- 35 NC officers selected from 47 considered for a 74 percent selection rate.
