ARPC announces colonel promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the CY12 USAFR Line and Nonline Colonel Promotion Selection Boards here Dec. 14, 2012.

The selection boards convened at the center Oct. 15 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. This year board members selected 198 of 1,468 officers considered for the colonel selection board.

Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line of the Air Force-Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurses Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

- 116 Line officers selected from 590 considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- Three Chaplains selected from seven considered for a 43 percent selection rate.
- One DC officer selected from seven considered for a 14 percent selection rate.
- Seven LAF-J officers selected from 31 considered for a 23 percent selection rate.
- Seven MC officers selected from 23 considered for a 30 percent selection rate.
- Four NC officers selected from 32 considered for a 13 percent selection rate.
