ARPC members participate in Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon events

Fourteen members, including two spouses, from the Air Reserve Personnel Center participated or volunteered in the Sports Authority Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon, half marathon, relay and inaugural 22-mile bike tour Sept. 22, 2012.

More than 15,000 people from 50 states and 20 countries participated in the events. The races included live music and refreshments along the route of the race.

One volunteer, Tech. Sgt. Richard Grybos, provided 12 hours of his spare time at the event by registering participants, setting up stands, distributing medals and taking photographs.

The members included: Mr. David Aldrich, Lena Aldrich, Lt. Col. Belinda Petersen, Lt. Col. Michael Ortiz, Maj. Susan Murphy, Maj. Timothy Martin, Maj. Colby Leathers, Senior Master Sgt. Brian Marr, Mesha Marr, Master Sgt. Michael Moore, Master Sgt. Manuel Zubia, Tech Sgt. Richard Grybos, Tech Sgt. Rob Hazelett, and Staff Sgt. Conrad Jones.
