The Air Reserve Personnel Center Reserve of the Air Force Selection Board Secretariat will host an open house here April 19, 2012. Members of ARPC are welcome to visit during two sessions, which will be from 9 - 10 a.m. and 10 - 11 a.m.

"We're opening our doors to bring everybody down from other areas in our building to learn what each one of our sections does and how our relationships are affected internally and externally," said Maj. Eric Levesque, ARPC selection board division chief. "Our interactions with evaluations, decorations and in Point Credit Accounting and Reporting Summary are critical. Anytime during a board, when we need some support from one of the other offices, it's important folks know what we're doing here and how our interactions help support our board efforts."

Levesque said the selection board division had taken a walking tour when they first moved into the new ARPC headquarters building to familiarize themselves where everybody else was.

"We think it's a good idea to educate everybody what's critical to us. They can look at our timelines and learn what our duties and responsibilities are in the building," Levesque said. "This goes to some of the issues with Right Now Technology and calls from the help desk, where if they understood our job a little better hopefully they could more appropriately direct those calls in those RNT cases."

Some of the briefings will that will be included during the open house will be from Board Operations, Eligibility and Policies Procedures.
