ARPC Command Chief to retire [VIDEO]

The Air Reserve Personnel Center will have its first command chief retire here Aug. 1, 2012.

Command Chief Master Sergeant David Paullet is retiring exactly one year after the center relocated from the former Lowry Air Force Base in Denver to its current location on Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colo.

The 25-year Air Force veteran from Pittsburgh, began his career as a KC-135 boom operator assigned to Robins AFB, in Warner Robins, Ga., With more than 6,000 flight hours, he said he will miss the people and flying when he leaves the Air Force.

Upon his retirement, Paullet urged younger Airmen to surround themselves with successful people and leave the job better than when they found it.
