ARPC announces lieutenant colonel promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the Calendar 2011 Air Force Reserve Line and Health Professions Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards Aug. 24, 2011. These boards selected more than 500 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at the center here June 13-17 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 546 of 1,374 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Services Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone (IPZ):

Participating Reserve
- 277 Line officers selected from 474 considered for a 58 percent selection rate.
- Four DC officers selected from six considered for an 67 percent selection rate.
- 20 MC officers selected from 24 considered for an 83 percent selection rate.
- 35 NC officers selected from 56 considered for a 63 percent selection rate.
- 14 MSC officers selected from 21 considered for a 67 percent selection rate.
- Eight BSC officers selected from 16 considered for a 50 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- One Line officer selected from 16 considered for a 6 percent selection rate.
- No DC officers selected from four considered.
- No MC officers selected from 19 considered.
- One NC officer selected from five considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- No MSC officers considered.
- One BSC officer selected from four considered for a 25 percent selection rate.

- 87 Line officers selected from 448 considered for a 19 percent selection rate.
- One DC officer selected from four considered for a 25 percent selection rate.
- Three MC officers selected from seven considered for a 43 percent selection rate.
- 13 NC officers selected from 39 considered for a 33 percent selection rate.
- Four MSC officers selected from seven considered for a 57 percent selection rate.
- Four BSC officers selected from 18 considered for a 22 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- No Line officers selected from 22 considered.
- One DC officer selected from four considered for a 25 percent selection rate.
- One MC officer selected from 21 considered for a five percent selection rate.
- One NC officer selected from one considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
- No MSC officer selected from one considered.
- No BSC officer selected from three considered.

- Three MSC officers selected from five considered for a 60 percent selection rate.
- Two BSC officers selected from two considered for a 100 percent selection rate.
