REMINDER -- CY12 AIR FORCE RESERVE COMMAND SCREENING BOARD (RCSB) (AFRC)

ARPC NOTAM 107 - Commanders --  The RCSB is scheduled to convene at the Air Reserve Personnel Center, April 10, and will nominate eligible individuals for consideration to occupy wing commander, vice wing commander, operations group commander, space wing commander, space operations group commander, maintenance group commander and support group commander positions.

For the first time in the history of the RCSB, individuals eligible for the CY12 RCSB are required to "opt in", if they wish to be considered for command positions during this CY12 RCSB. Of particular interest to those considering opting in is referenced in paragraph 5 of the attached ARPCM. This paragraph clearly states what is required of those individuals wishing to "opt in" for RCSB consideration, i.e., it clearly states that they must submit the "opt in" memo to ARPC NLT Thursday, March 1. Those individuals not opting in should not take any action.

Please keep in mind, sitting commanders, group command or higher, will not be receiving a memo from ARPC, as they will be automatically considered for RCSB positions, without actually physically meeting the RCSB.
