ARPC welcomes back the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs

The Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs paid another visit to the Air Reserve Personnel Center here Feb. 6, 2012.

Secretary Daniel Ginsberg visited Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., and was greeted by Col. Dan Dant, 460th Space Wing Commander, and other senior leadership at the wing. Ginsberg received a mission brief, visited the 140th Wing Air National Guard, 460th Mission Support Group, 566th Intelligence Squadron, the 310th Mission Support Group and the ARPC.

During his visit to ARPC, Secretary Ginsberg was greeted by Col. Patricia Blassie, ARPC commander, and other senior leadership at ARPC. He met with members of the Reserve School Screening Board and employees at ARPC.

Secretary Ginsberg was nominated by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the administration official responsible for the overall supervision of manpower and reserve component affairs of the Department of the Air Force. He heads a four-division department that develops policy and provides oversight of manpower, military and civilian personnel, Reserve component affairs and readiness support for the Department.
