ARPC HOSTS ARC FIELD ORIENTATION (ANG, AFRC):
ARPC hosts ARC field orientations for Guard and Reserve commanders, MPF/FSS personnel, First Sergeants, Career Advisors, and Command Chiefs at ARPC. These orientations provide in-depth training on personnel life-cycle processes including: Reserve and AGR Retirements, Promotions Eligibility, Performance Reports, PRFs, Selective Continuation, PCARS (Point Credit), and Entitlement programs.

Also an overview of the AFPERS knowledge base and vPC-GR online service applications are covered.

Additional orientations are scheduled for Aug. 15-16 and Nov. 7-8.   Seating is limited and attendees are lodged on base and can easily walk to HQ ARPC.

CY12 AIR FORCE RESERVE COMMAND SCREENING BOARD (RCSB) (AFRC):  The RCSB is scheduled to convene at the Air Reserve Personnel Center, April 10, and will nominate eligible individuals for consideration to occupy wing commander, vice wing commander, operations group commander, space wing commander, space operations group commander, maintenance group commander and support group commander positions. Final approval authority for placement of officers into these positions remains with AFRC/CC and/or AFRC/CV.

The basic eligibility criteria is as follows: Colonel, colonel select and "filtered" lieutenant colonels; Air Reserve Technicians (ART), Individual Mobilization Augmentees (IMA), Traditional Reservists (TR), Active Guard Reserve (AGR) or assigned to the Participating Individual Ready Reserve (PIRR), Mandatory separation date (MSD) of April 10, 2014 or later; and Commander experience desired; position specific eligibility criteria.

All eligible officers will receive a memo advising them of their eligibility and will be required to submit an application letter (to opt in) if they wish to be considered. Application letters must be received by ARPC/DPBB not later than March 1. Letters can be submitted via email to arpc.dpbb@arpc.denver.af.mil by mail to ARPC/DPBB, 18420 E Silver Creek Ave, MS68, Bldg 390, Buckley AFB, CO 80011.
