The Air Reserve Personnel Center officially wrapped up their contributions to the 2011 Combined Federal Campaign and raised more than $27,000 during the 21-day campaign.

This year's campaign celebrated its 50th anniversary of charitable giving across the federal government and was held Oct. 31- Dec. 2, 2011, at Buckley Air Force Base. The campaign kicked-off Oct. 31 during an expo held at the leadership development center, where servicemembers and civilians could hear directly from more 70 charities and organizations.

The CFC supports and promotes giving through a program which is employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all federal employees an opportunity to improve the quality of life of others.

"I'd like to personally thank and congratulate all on a very successful campaign within the center - thanks so much for caring," said Col. Tim Donohue, ARPC vice commander. "While Denver and Buckley have extended their campaigns, we've received 71 pledges totaling $27,227, which equates to 130 percent of our goal."

Based on assigned strength, ARPC established the following goals: 100 percent contact of personnel; 30-percent participation/donation rate; $21,000 monetary goal during 21-day campaign from Nov. 1-21 at ARPC.

"The most important part of the annual CFC drive is the pledging," Donohue said. "I'd like to thank our ARPC CFC project officer, Maj. Scott Uselding, along with several keyworkers throughout the center for volunteering to help run our campaign this year."
