RDEDB Results; TFSC Holiday Hours; January UTA Support; Awards & Decs: VA Home Letter

RDEDB RESULTS (AFRC) - The annual Air Force Reserve Developmental Education Designation Board was held at ARPC Nov. 1 - 5. During the proceedings, the RDEDB designated students to attend next year's Senior Developmental Education (SDE) and Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE) schools. Public release is scheduled for Dec. 22. Results will be posted on the ARPC website at: http://www.arpc.afrc.af.mil/. TFSC - DENVER WILL BE OPEN ON MONDAY, DEC. 27 (ANG, AFRC) - In order to best support our Citizen Airmen we will provide contact center support on the Monday after Christmas. Phone counselors will be available on Dec. 27 by calling the Total Force Service Center at 800-525-0102 or DSN 926-6528 from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. MT. Citizen Airmen can also request assistance 24/7/365 by logging onto the virtual Personnel Center-Guard and Reserve, the customer service Web portal for personnel services, online at https://arpc.afrc.af.mil/vPC-GR/.


JANUARY 2011 CONTACT CENTER UTA SUPPORT (ANG, AFRC) - Air Reserve Personnel Contact Center phone counselors will provide UTA support the following Saturdays, January 8 and 22. There will not be support the third Saturday, due to the Federal Holiday. Counselors can be reached by calling the Total Force Service Center at 800-525-0102 or DSN 926-6528 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mountain Time. ENHANCEMENT TO AWARDS AND DECORATIONS (ANG, AFRC) - HQ ARPC recently released new enhancements to Awards and Decorations within vPC-GR. Now all individuals in the coordination process will have access to previous awards received by the member being nominated. Also, another enhancement to the certificate application will allow a choice of 10 or 12 font size for the signature block to ensure a professional appearance. According to AFI 36-2803, each decoration and associated condition allows for several opening statement options. An enhancement has been made for the nominee to customize their opening statement as desired. VETERANS' ADMINISTRATION (VA) HOME LOAN LETTER (ANG, AFRC) - HQ ARPC has
released a new application within vPC-GR regarding Veterans' Administration Home Loan Letters. If you are purchasing a new home and considering a VA Loan, this application will provide you with the capability to verify service information needed by the VA. The eligibility requirement for this application is that you must have completed at least six (6) years of credible service to request this letter from the Total Force Service Center, Denver, Colo. Also, for your convenience, related applications have been included in the Face Page of this request and remains consistent within all associated applications.
