ARPC NOTAM 081 - Commanders --  URGENT: TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ACCESSING vPC-GR ONLINE (ANG, AFRC) - vPC-GR is currently experiencing intermittent technical difficulties when members attempt to access the website. Specifically, when accessing the vPC-GR website, you may simply not be able to connect. You may see this error message: INTERNET EXPLORER CANNOT DISPLAY THIS WEBPAGE. If this happens, please refresh the page through your browser to reconnect. You may need to refresh more than once. After refreshing the page, reconnection should be almost instantaneous. ARPC is researching the root cause of the problem and will remedy the issue as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

NOVEMBER 2010 CONTACT CENTER UTA SUPPORT (ANG and AFRC) - Air Reserve Personnel Contact Center phone counselors will provide UTA support the following Saturdays, November 6, 13, and 20. Counselors can be reached by calling 800-525-0102 or DSN 926-6528 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. MT. Citizen Airmen can always request assistance 24/7/365 by logging onto the virtual Personnel Center-Guard and Reserve, the customer service Web portal for personnel services, at http://arpc.afrc.af.mil/vPC-GR/ .

ENHANCEMENT TO RETIREMENT APPLICATION (ANG, AFRC) -- A new enhancement to the retirement application is now available on the virtual Personnel Center - Guard and Reserve (vPC-GR). Currently in the retirement application, the approval chain of command receives the retirement order via e-mail or mail.

With this new enhancement, once a retirement request has been approved and completed by the Total Force Service Center (TFSC), a member can view and print the order within the application, via a link on the Worklist Tab. For more information about this enhancement to the retirement application, please contact the TFSC at 800-525-0102. For online personnel transactions, log in to the vPC-GR at https://arpc.afrc.af.mil/vPC-GR  24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

IMPORTANT SGLI REMINDER (ANG, AFRC) -- As a reminder, when Airmen experience a life changing event (i.e., marriage, divorce, death of spouse, birth of child, etc.), they must visit their MPF/FSS to update their Servicemembers Group Life Insurance (SGLI) beneficiaries. Updating the virtual Record of Emergency Data, vRED, does not automatically update all other personnel data systems. To ensure your loved ones receive their full entitlements, ensure that you update both SGLI via your MPF/FSS and vRED via the vMPF for any life changing events.
