Command names top public affairs programs, people

An organization and six individuals are representing Air Force Reserve Command in the Air Force Public Affairs Communications Excellence Award competition.

Their selections were announced here Feb. 23.

The office with the best issues management program is Strategic Communications in the Office of the Air Force Reserve, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Individual award winners are:

Field grade officer - Lt. Col. Patricia L. York, Air Reserve Personnel Center, Denver.

Company grade officer - Capt. H. Wayne Capps Jr., 315th Airlift Wing, Charleston AFB, S.C.

Intermediate grade civilian - Kirby E. Love, 4th Combat Camera Squadron, March Air Reserve Base, Calif.

Entry grade civilian - Bryan P. Magana, 419th Fighter Wing ,Hill AFB, Utah

Senior NCO - Master Sgt. Darrell J. Habisch, 934th AW, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Air Reserve Station, Minn.

NCO - Tech. Sgt. Efren D. Lopez, 4th CTCS, March ARB

Another command award winner is the 934th AW Public Affairs Office, Minneapolis-St. Paul IAP ARS, which has the best innovative program.
