ARPC announces colonel promotions Published Dec. 21, 2009 By ARPC Public Affairs DENVER -- Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the Calendar 2009 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. These boards selected more than 100 Citizen Airmen for promotion. The selection boards convened at the center here Oct. 5 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 129 of 1,592 officers considered. A complete list of Citizen Airmen selected for promotion is available here. Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line of the Air Force-Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurses Corps, Medical Services Corps and Biomedical Services Corps. The results are: Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone (IPZ): Participating Reserve - 65 Line officers selected from 294 considered for a 22 percent selection rate. - No Chaplains selected from two considered. - Two DC officers selected from six considered for a 33 percent selection rate. - No LAF-J officers selected from 11 considered. - Three MC officers selected from 33 considered for a 9 percent selection rate. - Two NC officers selected from 17 considered for a 12 percent selection rate. - No MSC officers selected from six considered. - One BSC officer selected from six considered for a 17 percent selection rate. Nonparticipating Reserve - No Line officers selected from five considered. - No Chaplains considered. - No DC officers selected from two considered. - No LAF-J officers considered. - No MC officers selected from two considered. - No NC officers selected from one considered. - No MSC officers considered. - No BSC officers selected from one considered.
